It is designed for the 4K HDR. 4K resolution (4 times the pixels of Full HD) with 12-bit color depth (Dolby Vision) requires up to 18Gbps data rate capacity. This is a challenge to an HDMI cable longer than 15ft. But it’s not for our CL3 HDMI cables, which exceed 18Gbps.
