Our enclosure fittings are closely spaced for precise heat transfer and easy SSD loading and unloading.
Other brands of housing slide in horizontally and the thermal pad does not fully touch the housing. And it is easy to deform, making the SSD inconvenient to take out.
Due to the extremely fast transmission of NVMe SSD, the temperature is higher than that of USB3.0 solid state drive and when the temperature is too high, the ssd enclosure will start overheat protection, automatically reduce the transmission speed to reduce heat dissipation products and protect data. After ORICO’s professional design, the ORICO M.2 enclosure is equipped with an all-aluminum alloy cooling vest, with a silicone thermal pad, which can accurately guide the heat to the case shell and quickly dissipate heat.

2. If your SSD is a brand new SSD hard drive: Please format and partition the hard disk in Disk Management before using it for the first time. SSD is recommended to use exFAT format, compatible with Windows and Mac OS systems.

Installation Method:
1. Attach the cooling pad to the front of the SSD, and cover the SSD with the cooling vest. The thermal pad is located between the SSD and the cooling vest.
2. Slide open the cover of the ssd enclosure.
3. Align the SSD interface with the ssd enclosure interface, and use the silicone plug to align the SSD semi-circular hole and the ssd enclosure hole.
4. Slide and close the ssd enclosure cover. The installation is complete.
